Abaco Bungalow

What is the Abaco Bungalow Project? Hurricane Dorian flattened large sections of Abaco and Freeport Bahamas. There are 70,000 Bahamians without homes. This is a catastrophic event that has ended up creating one of the biggest single event housing crisis in modern history. What can be done? How about creating an inexpensive, simple, self sustainable, comfortable hurricane safe tiny home that sleeps up to 4 people so Bahamians can get back on their land, begin rebuilding, and start recovering their sense of normalcy. The Abaco Bungalow Project will be: erecting free hurricane safe tiny and micro housing on individuals properties; working with churches to house individuals on church grounds who don't have property; organizing volunteers to clean up properties and salvage possessions and lumber from demolished houses for the owners. We also have a donated work truck that we plan on shipping out to Marsh Harbor to help with all transportation needs. Join us by offering to volunteer and by donating.
